Professor Tak Mak elected as 2023 AAAS Fellows

Professor Tak MAK, Founding Member of The Hong Kong Academy of Sciences, Honorary Professor, Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine, HKUMed, has been elected as 2023 Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Founded in 1848, the American Association for the Advancement of Science is the world’s largest general scientific society and publisher of the journal Science. The AAAS Council annually selects outstanding scientists from its worldwide membership based on their academic impact and scientific contributions. The scientists selected are conferred with the title of AAAS Fellow, which is a lifetime honour that recognises their exceptional achievements.
